This is a field sketch of Ularu, that was created on the first day of a 4-day field trip to this beautiful region. This was my first visit to the Ularu region and I was truly overwhelmed by the atmosphere and the effect of light that played across these stunning natural forms. I was fortunate to experience so many different weather conditions in this short period and I am keen to share these as an evolving series over the coming months.

This drawing measures 210x295mm (A4) and is created on 180gsm cartridge paper with graphite pencil.
